Today, Tuesday, the Association of Iraqi Private Banks revealed a major project to rehabilitate an important street in Najaf.
Ali Tariq, Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, said, "The Tamkeen initiative is one of the important initiatives led by the Central Bank in cooperation with the banking sector and the Community Initiatives Fund to enable the fund, which supports many social, cultural, technical and health initiatives in various governorates."
"During the previous period, the initiative carried out many projects, including Al-Mutanabbi Street, squares in Baghdad, homes for the elderly, and support for orphanages," Tariq continued, in an interview with the official news agency.
He added, "The initiative has new projects that will be launched soon, and part of them will be in Baghdad and the provinces, including in the Kurdistan region and Nineveh, and in the honorable Najaf. We have a large project that will be launched soon to rehabilitate the vital and important Zain al-Abidin Street in a different modern way that preserves the city's legacy."
