    The French National Institute for Demographic Studies issued a report entitled "World Population", which provides a comprehensive picture of the population situation around the world. The world population will reach nearly 8 billion in 2022, has increased eightfold over the past 200 years, and may reach 10 billion by the end of the 21st century.
