Today, Monday, Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi stressed the importance of cooperation with the World Bank because it is a strong partner.
A statement by the ministry, received by the National News Center, said, "The Minister of Health received the Regional Director of the World Bank in Iraq, Jean-Christophe and Richard Abdel Nour, Director of the Baghdad Office, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their recent assumption of their positions."
The World Bank delegation expressed, according to the statement, their desire to cooperate with the Ministry of Health and provide technical support to the ministry, especially in the field of health insurance.
For his part, Al-Hasnawi welcomed “the regional director and his accompanying delegation, congratulating them on their assumption of their duties,” noting “the importance of cooperation with the World Bank because it is a strong partner in this field.”
The two parties agreed, according to the statement, to “continue coordination and cooperation according to specific timetables and goals agreed upon by the specialized technical teams of the two parties.”
