    Today, Monday, the Investigation Department of the Federal Integrity Commission confirmed its implementation of operations to control cases of waste of public money in the governorates of Dhi Qar and Muthanna, while it indicated that the amount of waste in public money amounted to approximately (3,400,000,000) dinars.
    The department said in a statement, "The team of the Dhi Qar Investigation Office, which moved to the Dhi Qar textile factory, carried out two separate seizure operations," explaining that "during the first operation, the priorities for the contract for supplying the armor plates that the factory contracted with a public company were seized." In the year 2019, for an amount of (2,400,000,000) dinars, indicating that it has not been disposed of until now in violation of the contract, and the factory management terminated the contract for supplying (10,000) armor plates consensually, without taking any action, which caused the plates to accumulate and expose them to consumption.
    And she added, "In a second operation, the team monitored that the factory management purchased two generators with a capacity of (500 kv) for a total amount of (490,000,000) dinars to the Rachel plant, although work has been suspended since 2013, which caused a waste of public money."
    In Al-Muthanna, the department reported that "the staff of the Commission's investigation office in the governorate carried out three separate seizure operations in the Rumaitha Municipality Directorate," noting that "the seizure of transactions for three real estate properties related to the construction of two fuel stations and a commercial building, which the municipality rented at less than the price set in the controls, which It caused a waste of (505,825,000) dinars.”
