Shafaq News/ The Chinese Embassy in Iraq announced today, Friday, that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries exceeded $53 billion during the past year.
In a statement published today, the embassy said that the volume of trade exchange between China and Iraq amounted to 53.37 billion US dollars in 2022, an increase of 43.1% on an annual basis.
The Chinese ambassador to Baghdad, Cui Wei, said last October in a press conference that "Iraq is the largest country for the Chinese side in terms of contracts and the second partner in terms of crude oil and the volume of trade exchange."
