Baghdad today - Baghdad
The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, arrived today, Wednesday, in the French capital, Paris, on an official visit, at the head of a government delegation.
A statement from the regional government, which will meet (Baghdad Today), stated that Barzani "will meet during the visit with French President Emmanuel Macron and a number of senior French officials."
The statement added that the meeting "will discuss prospects for strengthening relations between the Kurdistan region and the French Republic at various levels."
The visit will also discuss "the latest developments in the Iraqi arena and the region in general, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern," according to the statement.
