Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and the German Ambassador to Iraq, Martin Jaeger, confirmed building a long-term partnership in the field of energy and liquid gas production.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein received the German Ambassador to Iraq, Martin Jaeger."
The statement added that during the meeting, they discussed "bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation in various fields, and an emphasis on building a long-term partnership in the field of energy and liquid gas production, as well as in the fields of confronting climate changes, developing anti-corruption mechanisms and renewable energy."
The two sides touched on "the results of the visit conducted by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani and his accompanying delegation to Germany." problems in the electrical system.
