Shafaq News/ Lebanon announced, on Thursday, its refusal to enter a shipment of Iraqi hydraulic oil because it did not meet the mandatory conditions and specifications.

The Lebanese Industrial Research Institute said in a statement, seen by Shafak News agency, that "6 materials from different countries were finally refused entry into Lebanese territory because they did not comply with the mandatory conditions and specifications." Among those materials, the statement explained, "a shipment of hydraulic oil was refused." An Iraqi with a foam ratio of 360, and a viscosity ratio of 31.8 - 11,500 kg from the port of Tripoli.
Among the materials that were rejected, according to the statement, were "Egyptian washing powder, Turkish washing powder, American electric fans, Chinese medical supplies, and Malaysian cocoa that contains bacterial contamination."
Lebanon signed an agreement with Iraq in July 2021 to import one million tons of fuel fuel to alleviate the electricity crisis in the country, and the first ship arrived in Lebanon loaded with 31,000 tons of this substance on September 16, 2021.
Iraq and Lebanon agreed to exchange energy, according to which Iraq would grant Lebanon, which is going through the worst economic crisis in its history, heavy fuel oil, in return for "services and goods" that Iraq would receive from Lebanon.
