    The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed, on Friday, that the Iraqi Housing Fund, which is affiliated with it, has requested raising the lending ceilings in accordance with its law and accepting the employee’s guarantee for himself.
    The Ministry's media center stated, "The Board of Trustees of the Housing Fund, in its first session for the year 2023, previously requested, among its recommendations submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, to obtain the Council's approval to increase the lending ceilings according to the Fund's law to be (60) million dinars, for the centers of the governorates, districts and districts, including Baghdad province".
    He added, "The loan is repaid in monthly installments over a period of (15) years, with the deduction of transaction fees and examination fees amounting to 2% for one time, in order to alleviate the burden of citizens and in line with the current economic conditions and contribute to solving the housing crisis."
    And he continued, "The ministry also approached the State Council to inquire about accepting a guarantee (exclusively for the employee) for himself in the lending transaction by guaranteeing his salary, in another step aimed at reducing conditions and facilitating lending procedures for the largest possible segment of citizens."
