Erbil extends the shopping festival until the end of Ramadan

The Erbil International Fair, which hosts the Ramadan Shopping Festival, is witnessing a great turnout of visitors and shoppers for the products of 103 companies from six countries, and it is the first of its kind in the region and the largest in its size in Iraq.
The managing director of the fair, Hassan Sami, told Al-Sabah: “Since the first day of the opening of the festival, it has witnessed a great turnout from visitors and shoppers for the products offered by 103 companies from six countries in addition to Iraq, noting that because of the great demand for the festival, which exceeded the number of its visitors 118 thousand, it has been extended until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
He added that the festival, which has so far achieved sales of more than one billion dinars, displays foodstuffs, sweets, clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, fabrics, furnishings and supplies, in addition to various household needs, handicrafts and heritage works, in addition to folkloric, religious and popular events and activities that are held inside the exhibition halls and its outdoor patio.
