    The official of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Safeen Dzaye, revealed today, Tuesday, that there are 30 consulates and 10 offices of United Nations missions in the Kurdistan Region, indicating that there are opportunities to open representations for the Kurdistan Region in a number of Arab countries, from Including the Gulf countries.[/size]
    [size=45]Safin Dzaye, said that the level of representation of some countries in the Kurdistan Region has reached the level of general consulates, which means more powers for these consulates politically, economically and culturally, to develop and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields between the Kurdistan Region and these countries, and thus with the international community.[/size]
    [size=45]The official of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government revealed that there are 30 general or honorary consulates and offices of 10 United Nations missions in the Kurdistan Region, including the consulates of the five permanent members of the Security Council, pointing to the existence of opportunities to open representations for the Kurdistan Region in a number of Arab countries, including the Gulf states.[/size]
    [size=45]Dzaye said, in this regard, that there is a project prepared regarding the opening of representations and offices for the Kurdistan Region in a number of Arab countries, Turkey and a number of Asian countries.[/size]
    [size=45]The official of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Safin Dzaye, and regarding relations with the Arab countries, said that the relations of the Kurdistan Region are very good and we are constantly trying to strengthen and enhance them, pointing out that 6 Arab countries have diplomatic representations in the Kurdistan Region (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt), and Qatar is scheduled to open its consulate in Erbil soon.[/size]
    [size=45]Dzaye continued, by saying that until now there is no representation of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the Arab countries, despite the excellent relations with most of these countries and the mutual visits between the officials of the Kurdistan Region and these countries. Referring to the preparation of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government, in coordination with the Council of Ministers of the region, a project aimed at opening offices and representations for the region in the Arab countries, Turkey, and a number of Asian countries. Pointing out that the opening of these offices and representations needs a budget, and we hope it will be available soon and the procedures for opening representations will begin, as work is underway in this regard.[/size]
