    [size=45]The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, met this Friday evening, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, within the framework of participating in the Munich Security Conference.[/size]
    [size=45]At the meeting, an overview of the latest developments in the political situation and the Iraqi situation in general was presented, while the President of the Kurdistan Region and the Prime Minister thanked the United Nations for its support to Iraq, especially the role of (UNAMI) in the Iraqi elections, and expressed their hope that the United Nations would continue to support And its support to address the problems in Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting dealt with the latest developments on combating terrorism and ISIS threats and dangers. The two sides indicated that ISIS still represents a serious and real threat, threatening security and stability in Iraq and Syria.[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting touched on the importance of coordination between Erbil and Baghdad in confronting terrorism, and it was stressed the need for everyone to work to establish security and stability in Iraq, because the lack of security and stability would corrode the political process, and the United Nations can provide assistance in this regard.[/size]
