Al-Abadi and the American ambassador discuss developments in the political situation and the fight against corruption

{Politics: Al-Furat News} The head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, discussed today, Thursday, with the American ambassador in Baghdad, developments in the political and economic situation in the country.
Al-Abadi's office stated in a statement received by Al-Furat News that "the latter received in his office the Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, Alina Romansky, and her accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed developments in the political, security and economic conditions, strengthening cooperation between the two countries and the vision of the Iraqi government in its dealings with the countries of the region and society." through openness and intertwining of economic interests.
While the importance of supporting the current government in its reform program, fighting corruption and providing services to citizens was emphasized, especially with the approval of the country's financial budget, according to the statement.
