    [size=45]Yesterday, Saturday, the Health and Environment Committee in the House of Representatives reported that 50 billion dinars have been allocated to implement the health insurance system.[/size]
    [size=45]The head of the committee, Representative Majid Shankali, said in a statement to (Al-Mada) that “the implementation of the health insurance system has allocated 50 billion dinars for it, in addition to activating the partnership with the private sector to manage 5 hospitals in Babel, Basra, Najaf, Karbala and Dhi Qar, for which 250 billion dinars have been allocated.”[/size]
    [size=45]Shankali added, "There are projects affiliated with the government program for the care of heart disease and its complications, for which 200 billion dinars have been allocated."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed to "allocations amounting to 200 billion dinars for the treatment of people with malignant and incurable diseases."[/size]
    [size=45]Earlier, a spokesman for the Health Insurance Authority, Ihab Abdel Karim, said, "All employees will be included in the system, and the subscription allowance will be deducted from the current month."[/size]
    [size=45]And Abdul Karim continued, “The deduction of subscriptions will start when the services start to be provided, and the monthly deduction rate for the employee is 1% of his salary, and this percentage is paid for him and his family.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, "Subscription for retired citizens and the rest of the segments of the Iraqi people will be optional."[/size]
    [size=45]Abdul Karim pointed out that “the goal of the health insurance system is not for profit, because the main contribution to it will be for the state, and the main goal is to achieve social solidarity.”[/size]
