    [size=45]Yesterday, Monday, the Parliamentary Education Committee confirmed that the Ministry of Education succeeded in preventing the baccalaureate exam questions from being leaked by applying its procedures as required, while it defended the decision to cut off the internet during the first morning hours of the exam days.[/size]
    [size=45]Committee member Nidaa Al-Kuraiti said in an interview with (Al-Mada): “The Ministry of Education controlled the issue of leaking and smuggling questions in the required manner, after clear support from the Parliamentary Committee supporting the steps that contributed to preserving the educational process.”[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Kuraiti added, "There is a committee formed by the Ministry of Education that stood up to the leaking of questions and prevented the recurrence of last year's problem, which was an educational disaster after the questions were smuggled in a large way."[/size]
    [size=45]She pointed out, "Turning off the Internet was a necessity because there are fears on the part of the Ministry of Education and those in charge of education in the country of the need to prevent leakage of questions and stop the weak-minded from exploiting the Internet."[/size]
    [size=45]The Ministry of Education confirmed, earlier, that there were no violations in the sixth preparatory exams, and stated, in a clarification, that “the sixth preparatory exams proceeded normally and there were no violations.”[/size]
    [size=45]“The Ministry of Education has completed all preparations for the start of the exams, in coordination with the security and service departments,” the ministry said in a statement before the start of the exams.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The number of participating students is more than 689,000 distributed over 4,769 examination centers in Baghdad and the provinces and representatives of the Kurdistan region."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, "The government decided to cut off the internet service during the sixth preparatory exams, starting from four in the morning until eight in the morning."[/size]
    [size=45]As for the results of the third intermediate grade exams, a source in the Ministry of Education confirmed that they will be announced at the end of this week, pointing out that the success rates are high and reach 70%.[/size]
    [size=45]And the source continued, “The start of the new academic year will be on 9/17/2023 for all public and private schools,” explaining that “the date for teaching and educational staff to join the official working hours will be on 8/27/2023.”[/size]
