    Today, Wednesday (September 13, 2023), the Federal Integrity Commission and the Arab Trainers Union signed a joint cooperation agreement to train and develop the skills of trainers, consolidate the training profession and raise its quality.
    The Commission stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that, “Based on the keenness to lay the foundations of joint strategic cooperation, to ensure the achievement of institutional integration and the advancement of the professionalism and message of training, the Federal Integrity Commission, represented by the Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy and the Arab Trainers Union, signed a joint cooperation agreement to train “Developing the skills of trainers, consolidating the training profession and raising its quality.”
    “The agreement, which was signed by the Vice President of the Federal Integrity Commission (Dr. Mazhar Turki Abd) and the President of the Arab Trainers Union (Dr. Younis Ahmed Khatayba), aims to strengthen the partnership efforts to achieve an improvement in the level of training, spread awareness, and establish an effective framework for partnership relations, in order to achieve the vision and mission.” The two parties, in addition to implementing and developing an integrated system of communication through holding events for all target groups, including training, exchanging information, training consultations, and training programs,” according to the statement. 
    According to the statement, “the agreement stressed the need to develop and present modern methods to train specialists in the field of preparing strategies related to combating corruption, spreading a culture of integrity and transparency, and community awareness of the causes and manifestations of corruption, job behavior, and ethics of public employment, in addition to the fields of media, journalism, the art of negotiation, and crisis management.” Emphasizing "providing the necessary legal and procedural facilities for the purpose of implementing activities and events, and exchanging knowledge, training experiences, and scientific experiments at all levels." 
    The statement touched on “the exchange of technical and training visits to benefit from experiences and expertise related to the fields of cooperation and the holding of joint seminars, meetings, conferences and workshops,” pointing out that “the two parties will work to implement the agreement without prejudice to their laws or the agreements and contracts they are committed to implementing, provided that any administrative decision does not conflict with them.” The two parties agree with the objectives and provisions of the agreement.
    The agreement stipulated the formation of a joint cooperation committee from both parties, which would be responsible for determining communication mechanisms and means, activating and organizing areas of cooperation, facilitating implementation procedures, developing bilateral cooperation through periodic meetings whenever the need arises, and proposing amendments to this agreement, clarifying the commitment of each party not to infringe. The intellectual property rights of the other party without the written consent of the other party.
    “It is worth noting that the Arab Trainers Union is an Arab accreditation organization (based in Jordan) that works within the framework of the Council for Arab Economic Unity at the League of Arab States, working to establish the training profession and accredit trainers and workers in the field of training and training programs with an accredited certificate in all Arab countries,” according to the statement.
