Political analyst Haider Arab said on Wednesday that America's standing by the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the Khor Abdullah agreement is "expected," while Iraq is the only Gulf country fighting Washington's plans, confirming the presence of an American-Gulf alliance over Iraq.

In an interview with the Maalouma Agency, Arab said, “There is a Gulf-American alliance, given that most of the Gulf countries are subject to the United States, most of which went toward normalization with the Israeli entity by order of Washington.”
He added, "The only Gulf country that stands as a stumbling block to fighting America's plans in the region is Iraq," adding, "It is not reasonable for America to agree with the Iraqi national will."
The political analyst explained, “The Gulf countries are the ones who conspired against Iraq in more than one forum, the simplest of which is in the sports field,” stressing, “America’s standing by the Gulf Cooperation Council against the Federal Court’s decision regarding the Khor Abdullah Agreement is not surprising.”
He stated that "America's position on the issue was expected, considering that the Gulf countries were the ones who had an active role in supporting terrorism against Iraq and sending bombs and terrorists, and they were the ones who conspired to end the country's new democratic system, which they did not want."
Arab stressed, "Iraq represents one of the weapons of resistance against the American arrogant government and the Zionist entity, and therefore American support for the Gulf is not surprising."
Today, Wednesday, a member of the House of Representatives, Kazem Al-Touki, considered the position of the Gulf Cooperation Council and America on the issue of demarcating the border with Kuwait “something not new,” while he stressed that Iraq is “not bound” to the positions of these countries.
Earlier today, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United States of America issued a joint statement that addressed many regional and international issues, and touched on the file of Iraq and Kuwait. Ended / 25 R
