Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired, on Sunday, a special meeting that included the Ministry of Communications and the Media and Communications Authority.
A statement from Al-Sudani’s office received by Mawazine News stated, “The Prime Minister chaired a meeting that included the Minister of Communications, Hiam Abboud Al-Yasiri, and the CEO of the Media and Communications Authority, Ali Al-Moayyed, to discuss the services provided by these two institutions, ways to develop the communications sector, the most prominent obstacles and obstacles to their work, and removing “Everything that affects the provision of services to citizens.”
The meeting also discussed "a study of developing plans to achieve the maximum benefit from this sector, as it represents an important financial source that contributes to maximizing the revenues that the government employs in implementing the priorities and components of its government program."
