Shafaq News/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed, on Wednesday, to pay the financial dues to the satellite channels that broadcast the Iraqi national football team’s matches.
The Sudanese media office stated in a brief statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, that the latter instructed the Ministry of Finance to pay dues for the rights to broadcast the Iraqi national football team’s matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
He stated that "the goal is to display it free of charge to the Iraqi public, through the channels of the Iraqi Media Network and other local channels."
Tomorrow, Thursday, the Iraqi national team will face its Indonesian counterpart in the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
