    The head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc, Jamal Kujar, submitted a request to Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani to lend the Kurdistan region 700 billion dinars to pay employees’ salaries.
    According to a document issued by the MP’s office and obtained by “Baghdad Today”, “We thank the Council of Ministers for the previous approval to disburse the amount of (2.1) trillion dinars in three installments as government loans to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and allocating them only to the salaries of employees, as well as your serious steps to solve the problem of the salaries of the region’s employees.” Radically by amending the Budget Law (2023).”
    He added, "The conditions of the employees of the Kurdistan Regional Government, not receiving their salaries for (3) months of the year (2023) and the lack of hope of distributing them for the current month if the federal government does not assist the regional government with a loan until the (2023) budget is amended, at least (700) One billion dinars to cover this month’s salary.
