    [rtl]The head of the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee, Zaha Al-Bajari, confirmed her “categorical” rejection of the issue of merging the navigation company with airports, while identifying the reasons.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Al-Bajari’s media office stated, in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, that the latter “categorically rejects the issue of merging the navigation company with airports, as this came during the field visit carried out by the committee to the air navigation company, as it is one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport, where the parliamentary committee was informed of the The reality of work and the responsibility entrusted to the company and the importance of developing their work.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The committee met with “air navigation personnel from senior management and demonstrators and was briefed on the mechanism for merging the navigation company with the airport to establish the Iraqi Navigation and Airports Company,” stressing “the committee’s objection to the merger, as it will cause continued air traffic control over Iraq, and the merger will be in violation of the House of Representatives’ decision to establish the Airports Company.” Iraq for the success of the work and development of airports,” according to the statement.[/rtl]
