On Thursday, the Ministry of Interior issued a notice regarding dealing with the national card inside and outside Iraq.[/size]
[size=45]The Ministry stated in a statement that “work will not stop and will continue to issue the national card after 3/1/2024 and that the purpose of the current procedure is to move from paper work to the electronic system that achieves a qualitative shift in the services provided to citizens.”[/size]
[size=45]She explained that “the procedure includes, as a first stage, only citizens inside Iraq, as old paper documents (civil status ID and nationality certificate) will not be dealt with, and the national card will be a substitute for them when they visit state departments for the purpose of completing a transaction after this date.”[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that “the current procedure does not apply to Iraqis residing abroad, and that there are other regulatory measures in the future that will ensure the continued improvement of services to the citizen.” Ended / 25 hours[/size]
