    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Next Monday, the Federal Court has set a date for deciding “four lawsuits for the previous session to elect the Speaker of Parliament.”
According to documents, a copy of which “Baghdad Today” obtained today, Friday (January 26, 2024), “The Federal Court will consider, next Monday, 4 cases and requests, the first of which is canceling the first round session and all the outcomes that emerged from it, including the nomination and the names that were submitted.” She was nominated and voted on, in addition to a request to issue a state order to stop the resumption of the second round of voting on candidates for the position of Speaker of Parliament. The requests also included invalidating the nomination of Representative Shalan Al-Karim, as well as dropping his membership from Parliament.
