[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makiya, met with the Director General of the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nashat Ibrahim Al-Khafaji, and they agreed to prepare the requirements for switching from paper entry visas to electronic entry visas, and to approve them for investment projects in Iraq.
The head of the authority confirmed, according to a statement by the authority, “The authority is working very seriously to simplify the procedures related to the private sector and investment projects in Baghdad and the governorates, indicating that an agreement was made with the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in the Ministry of Interior to approve the work of the electronic visa (entry visa) for investment projects.” .
For his part, Major General Nashaat Al-Khafaji expressed his thanks to the Chairman of the National Investment Commission for the high coordination with the Ministry of Interior with the aim of simplifying the procedures for entry visas, and facilitating investors and companies’ access to the required electronic visa in order to activate work on vital projects./End H[/rtl]
