[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, announced the formation of a committee headed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to restructure companies.
Battal said in a press conference held during his visit to the factories of the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries, today: “The highest production of the factory was in 2023, due to the earthquake that occurred in Syria and Turkey, because the products were sent to the victims of the earthquake after they were purchased by the Red Crescent and other companies and even from the sector.” private and donated it.”

The Minister of Industry noted, “Preserving the weavers’ craft is not one of the responsibilities of the Ministry of Industry. There are other sectoral ministries, such as the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, that are concerned with preserving heritage, so the issue needs to be reconsidered.”
