    Today, Saturday (April 6, 2024), the State of Law coalition, led by Nouri al-Maliki, revealed a role played by Iraqi governmental and political parties to calm the situation between Tehran and Washington.
    The leader of the coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, told “Baghdad Today” that “the American side usually deals with sensitive files with the Iraqi government and not with political leaders,” noting that “the Americans may consult and take the opinions of some Iraqi political parties, led by the leader of the coalition.” The rule of law, Nouri al-Maliki.

    Al-Maliki received the American ambassador, while noting the importance of strengthening the relationship with the United States and benefiting from it in various fields, expressing his hope that the Prime Minister’s visit to Washington will contribute to strengthening the partnership and opening broader horizons for cooperation, in addition to activating the strategic framework agreement and setting a timetable for completing the tasks of the international coalition. in Iraq.
    For her part, the American Ambassador renewed her country's support for the stability of Iraq, stressing the continuation of providing the necessary assistance to the Iraqis within the strategic framework agreement between the two countries.
