     Information/Baghdad
MP Haider Al-Mutairi revealed, on Thursday, a parliamentary movement to unify drug pricing in Iraq.
Al-Mutairi told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There is a large disparity in the prices of medicines in neighboring countries, Iraq, and even between governorates."
He added, "Some prices are exaggerated, which has led to citizens bearing large financial burdens, especially for poor families and those with limited income."
He added, "There is a parliamentary movement through communication with the Ministry of Health to proceed with approving a unified price for medicines in pharmacies according to flexible mechanisms that can prevent any price increases."
It is noteworthy that the prices of medicines in Iraq are exaggerated compared to many neighboring countries. End 25 F
