Parliamentary Gas: Hosting the Minister of Oil and five laws ready in the next three months

{Politics: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee discussed the reality of the oil sector in Iraq, and the committee’s role at the legislative and supervisory levels.
The head of the committee, Haibat al-Halbousi, explained in a statement to the committee's media that "the meeting discussed the laws and legislation that the subcommittee is working on, as there will be five laws ready in the next three months, and the director of the advisory body and the director general of the legal department in the Ministry of Oil will be hosted to mature those laws according to a shared vision between the legislative and executive institutions."
He added that "the committee took several decisions within the framework of its oversight role; to inquire about some topics and follow up on the work mechanism of some departments, as a schedule was prepared to host the Minister of Oil, the ministry's undersecretaries, in addition to hosting the ministry's general managers, in a way that contributes to implementing the committee's vision to develop the oil industry in the country."
