    The Prime Minister directed "expanding crude oil production operations, to increase associated gas production, through national efforts or completing the production rates contracted with licensing round companies," directing "increasing the production capacity of the northern refineries to cover the needs of electrical energy and the requirements of the northern refineries."
     
    The meeting witnessed a discussion of the current gas investment projects, especially with the associated gas investment rate reaching 69% of the gas produced in all Iraqi fields, which represents a strategic achievement in a short period of time, as it achieved an increase of 13%.
