    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Sarwa Abdul Wahid, revealed a number of suspicions regarding the granting of lands and state properties for investment, as they are obtained by suspicious individuals in a manner resembling a monopoly on some names and not others.[/rtl]
[rtl]Abdul Wahid said in a post on her personal page on the X platform, which was followed by “Al-Iqtisad News”, that “we are among the most supportive of real investment in Iraq, but what is happening does not fall within the term investment, but rather is the looting of the state, its real estate and its lands,” noting that “since 2003, the Iraqi governments have given all the important real estate to the corrupt and influential political figures in the name of entitlements, and today the Investment Authority is giving what remains of the presidential palaces to names on which there are suspicions.”[/rtl]

[rtl]She added, "Mr. Authority, you are obligated to put us in front of the achievements of Ali Shamara and Namir Al-Aqabi in order to grant them the rehabilitation and investment of the presidential palaces, and what is the reward?!"[/rtl]

[rtl]She wondered: “Is it reasonable that the “Imkanat Company” is developing Al Rashid Camp and in return takes all its commercial and tourism projects for its own benefit in addition to 700 acres around the airport! Where do you want to go?! Is there anything left that has not been sold in suspicious deals?!”[/rtl]
