    Baghdad Today - Baghdad
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed, today, Wednesday (October 9, 2024), the importance of setting standards for partnership between the Iraq Development Fund and the private sector.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that "Al-Sudani chaired, today, Wednesday, the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iraq Development Fund," indicating that "during the meeting, the topics and procedures related to the work of the fund were discussed, and it was decided to proceed with signing the contract with the consultant who will supervise the (Edopa) project for building schools, in order to fill the shortage in school buildings."
Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of cooperation with the private sector and setting standards for partnership between the fund and this vital sector, based on what will be provided by the company ( KBR ), which represents the advisory side to the government," directing "the necessity of coordination with the governorates in order to increase the number of schools that will be implemented through the fund within the (Edoba) project."
