Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Iraqi Ministry of Education denied the news over the escape of the Ministry’s Administrative Agent, Ali al-Ibrahimi, to the UAE with huge money from the Ministry’s financial allocations.
A statement by the MoE cited on Thursday “Ibrahimi is still assuming his office regularly and he did not depart the country,” stressing “what has been reported by some media outlets is groundless.”
He noted “We will sue the website that posted this false news,” according to the statement.
Certain website has reported that the administrative undersecretary for the Education Ministry, Ibrahimi escaped Iraq to the UAE with huge funds from the Ministry’s allocations which are up to IQD 15 billion.
