[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - Iraq Press - April 2 / April: Japan announced the donation of four million dollars, theInternational Organization for Migration, to support the Iraqis and refugees displaced Syrians in Iraq, asserting that its contribution would boost humanitarian response to the International Organization for Migration ( IOM ) and the "crisisof the current exodus."
The International Organization for Migration in Iraq , in a statement, " The Government of Japanhas provided a total of US $ 4 million to theInternational Organization for Migration Missionof Iraq to support Iraqi refugees displaced Syrians and to finance two projects in 12 months , " indicating that it was " the allocation of $ 3.5 million to help the displaced people through projects the international Organization for migration ( IOM ) by responding integrated contingency plan and activate the IDP and returnee communities and host communities across Iraq. "
The statement added, " The project will focus on building makeshift shelters from local materials to the displaced communities and belonging, and to provide primary health care for mothers and children through mobile medical teams to communities that stumbles upon access to health services , " pointing to "make a list on the basis of societal cohesion social activities ".
The statement continued, " The social activities include peace and practices of traditional brokerage building and highlights the empowerment of community groups and ensuring effective women, youth and ethnic and religious minorities participate , " stressing that " the project will incorporate materials donated by the Government of Japan , including eyeglasses to be presented to the children of displaced Iraqis ".
The statement said, " The US $ 500,000 will be used for the purpose of assisting Syrian refugees and the families of the host community in Iraq by another project which will contribute to the emergency to earn a living for Syrian refugees in Iraq tohelp , " noting that " The activities will include the provision of transportation to schools for the children of Syrian refugees and provide vocational training and business training and income-generating activities through the involvement in cooperatives, and rehabilitation of infrastructure in the community in line with the adjustment plan for Syrian refugees. "
Japan 's position in support of Iraq, comes a day after the Netherlands to provide $ 5 million for the reconstruction of liberated areas in Iraq from the grip Tnazim Daash. Q ended
