[ltr]Pentagon: decrease in the number of foreign fighters in Iraq and Syria[/ltr]
[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Washington-Iraq Press -27 April: General announced in the US Army, at dawn on Wednesday, that the number of "terrorists" of foreigners, who entered into Iraq and Syria :, dropped dramatically over the past year.
Gen. Peter Gerstein told reporters at the Pentagon that "when he arrived in Baghdad in the past year 2015 was between 1,500 and two thousand extremist foreigner to join a gang Daash each month."
He added: "Now we fight this enemy a year ago, and we estimate that number has been reduced to 200 per month, and we are witnessing in fact anincrease in the number of defectors from these terrorists." Ended (1)
