Iraq announced higher production of agricultural crops strategy after its adoption ofscientific methods and transfer to the agricultural reality field.
A statement of the Ministry of Agriculture and our economy news agency received a copy ofit, all the technical agent Mahdi al - Qaisi said that "scientific plans have led to increased crop production Alastregih especially wheat crop , which is the key to food security of the country ratios."
He pointed out that "scientific plans have included three projects was the first to provide growers of wheat , to systems sprinkler irrigation at a subsidized price of 50% and Premiumand the remaining amount over ten years, due to the many benefits in the face of the water crisis , as well as increased production."
He said al - Qaisi " The other project is the National Program for the Development of wheat ,which focused on the development of varieties and breeds characterized by high Pantajitha and resistance to salts and disease, as well as the introduction of varieties of foreign after itsadoption by the National Commission for the registration and approval , and the protectionof agricultural varieties."
He stressed that " the third project was the production of seeds program nucleus and nucleolus derived through agricultural research and specialists circle in the field of scientific research in the ministry to get the items approved was assigned to employees of the seeds in order to propagate them to get the seeds of senior and distributed to the peasants."
Qaisi pointed out that " the adoption of these scientific programs has led to a quantum leap in the production of wheat crop has reached seven hundred tons kg per acre and that theprograms are continuing to increase production , especially after upgrading thecustomizations fertilizer for farmers."
