    Human Rights accused the government of "failure to provide" appropriate educational environment for students and documented violations

    UN High Commissioner for Human Rights accused the government of "failure to provide a suitable environment" for students to exercise their right to education and sponsorship especially from the door of human rights, calling for the need to reconsider the course of the educational process through the gate of those rights. 
    He said Commission member, Fadhil al - Gharawi, in a statement received ( long - Presse) a copy of it, that "education in Iraq is still a challenge for the contents of human rights that ensured this right under international conventions and treaties and the Universal Declaration of human rights and the Iraqi constitution." 
    He added Ghraoui, that "education is still experiencing a lot of problems , especially the lack of school buildings the overcrowding of the schools and the spread of the phenomenon of mud schools and not todevelop curricula and modern methods system , "asserting that" the Commission has documented numerous human rights violations relating to the right to education , especially violence against students , whether physical or verbal or separation on the basis of sex, after receiving many reports and complaints so regard. " 
    said Commission member, that" the Commission has issued several reports which confirm the failure of the government to provide suitable for students of the environment in the exercise of their right to education and sponsorship especially from the human rights section, "he continued that" the diagnosis crystallize the small age groups of students , which requires a the government and its ministries concerned to reconsider thecourse of the educational process through the human rights of the gate. " It is 
    noteworthy that Iraq is suffering since the eighties of the last century, the lack of primary and middle schools and preparatory stages, in addition to the presence of hundreds of mud schools that are spread in rural and remote areas of the country, making more existing schools adopt always double and triple in an effort not feasible to solve the problem.

    it is said that the Education Committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council, confirmed in ( the 19th of July last in 2015), the capital , to 2500 school buildings need to bridge the shortfall in this area, while uncovered for the reluctance of the implementation of the 147 schools, and former Minister of Education , held responsible for that.
