Criminal Basra issued a sentence of imprisonment for three years against the former director of the Rafidain Bank

the media office of the courts of Basra announced on Thursday that the criminal court in the province issued a severe imprisonment for a term of three years against the former director of a branch of the Rafidain Bank, regardless of its financial controls unlike loans.
The office said in a statement / Baghdadi News received / copy of it, that "the court of competent integrity issues felonies sentenced to severe prison for three years against the accused (b pp) pursuant to the provisions of Article 340 of the Penal Law No. 111 of 1969 average,"
noting that " accused when she was director of a branch of the Rafidain Bank in Basra was granted in 2008 loans in violation of the regulations and instructions for granting loans. "
The statement added that "this cause obtaining wasting public money in the amount of nine billion and 316 000 356 thousand dinars," adding that "the court ordered the accused to pay the loans that have not been repaid,
and not to her release after the end of the term of imprisonment only after the recovery of these amounts, as released Court for a number of defendants in the same case for lack of evidence against them.
