Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mufeed al-Baldawi, of the State of Law Coalition accused the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, of targeting the security forces by holding the exceptional parliament session.
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The exceptional parliament session will be for the political statements and aims at targeting the dignity of the State and the security forces rather than discussing the challenges that face them by the regional plan that aims at disturbing the situation in Iraq.”
“The parliament failed in its previous sessions to endorse the law drafts,” he added, accusing Nijaifi of “Allying with his political party which resulted in disturbing the parliament performance.”
