Why Trust God??? Empty Why Trust God???

Post by Waymaker Thu 27 Jun 2013, 6:12 am

Why would you believe that someone you can’t see on the other end of a phone line would send you something just because you order it? Because it happens every day for others, and it’s probably happened to you before. Therefore you’re not being presumptuous or silly when you go to your mailbox expecting it to be there. You are not the first person to trust God and you won’t be the last. ‘Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations’ (Psalms 90:1 NAS). People have been trusting God for thousands of years and He has never let them down. His faithfulness is all the ‘evidence’ you need. So it’s not foolish to put your trust in a God like that, is it?

In answer to this question let me say this, Believing in God is one thing, knowing him is another. I believe him because he revealed himself to me and in doing so he gave me a personal witness and testimony of his reality. I didn't find  Jesus in a book, you don't find him there.

It was the personal experience that gave weight to his word and through that experience I understood his existence and much more than that.

I understood his love for me, an imperfect soul whom he found worthy to lay his life down, paying a debt that wasn't his and that was impossible for me to repay with the best of my efforts. He did this so that I could be freed from this bondage that was casting me into eternal separation from my living Father.

Freeing me from this curse, Jesus brought to me an abundant life [Spiritually, Physically and yes Financially]. He fulfilled the righteousness of the law in my life thus pouring out on me like Niagara Falls the blessings for keeping the law [though I hadn't kept them].

Truly I have had many experiences and through the years I have shared many of them with you all, not so I could lift myself up mind you, but that you would know that there indeed is a living God  and you can count on him, call upon him and know him.

Yet living in this life is a battle and we do have an enemy and you should know it, the devil himself, he is responsible for all the heartache and troubles of this world. Yet to the believer Jesus has given authority so that gates of hell shall not prevail against his church. You draw this authority out like a sword and take nothing less than what God promised us and ultimately we get the victory every time. So it's time for all believers to do so now, it's a bank account many are not drawing from because their church leaders never taught the truth, but that doesn't mean you can't begin today.

So yes I believe in God and I have understood that he is Jesus, yet it all started with an experience so long ago just like the Apostles and the 120 on the day of Pentecost, that my friends is the beginning of understanding and it's one that no one will ever be able to rob from you...

So for those who do not know, it's all true. Jesus is coming back to rule and reign, the judgment of the great tribulation is coming soon and the Rapture of his church even before that. Ultimately everyone will know that Jesus is Lord, yet where will you spend eternity?

Take the gift while it's still available ... The days of grace are fast coming to a close.

    Amen.....
