In today's post, we share our thoughts on the current top-5 teams in the NHL taking into account record, underlying numbers, roster talent and more.
Todd Cordell
1. Washington Capitals (52-18-8)
I know the Caps haven't had the best luck come playoff time and always find a way to fall short but this team has to enter the playoffs as the favorites.
They have a ton of scoring depth, they're physical, they have a top-pairing caliber defender on each pairing and Braden Holtby is Braden Holtby. I just don't see any glaring weakness on this team.
2. Pittsburgh Penguins (48-19-11)
The Pens are really beat up but they continue to win games and it sounds like Evgeni Malkin and/or Kris Letang aren't far off. If they're good to go on opening night of the playoffs, I think the sky is the limit for this Pens team.
3. Chicago Blackhawks (50-22-7)
Last year I wasn't high on the Blackhawks and picked against them in the opening round. I won't be doing that this year. Their stars are playing like stars and Nick Schmaltz, Ryan Hartman, etc. have really stepped up and given the team the depth contributions they need. This team is legit.
4. Anaheim Ducks (43-23-13)
They haven't lost in regulation over the last 10 games, are getting consistent scoring from the top-3 lines, the defense has been good (as always) and Jonathan Bernier was nothing short of spectacular in John Gibson's absence. The Ducks are going to be a pain in the ass to play in the playoffs.
5. Edmonton Oilers (44-25-9)
I'm not sold the depth will hold up against other top teams but Connor McDavid scares the crap out of me. He has been as good as anyone this season and has the ability to single-handedly win games. They're getting ridiculous production from the McDavid line and Cam Talbot has been one of the best goaltenders in the NHL this season. They're going to be a tough out in the playoffs.
James Tanner
1. Washington - the class of the NHL. A Plus 76 goal differential. The best defensive team in hockey. And they accomplished all that before they acquired Shattenkirk - who gives them the best top four in the NHL, maybe the best in the salary cap era.
2. Pittsburgh - The defending champs get #2 out of respect. They won the Cup, had a great year, and they still have maybe the best team on paper. The problem is their so banged up.
3. Edmonton - They are 9-1 in the last ten. Talbot is legit. McDavid/Draisaitl/Maroon is the best line in hockey. I called them to win the west. If the season was a month longer I'd probably have been right. Still baffles me that a lot of people picked them to miss the playoffs.
4. Chicago - This one is done begrudgingly, but the team is deep, they've won before and they won the West.
5. Toronto - I swear to god this isn't a homer pick or a troll pick. They have five first liners. An underrated D. A top 10 goalie. They are 7-2-1 in the last ten games. They can outskate any team in hockey. Auston Matthews is - at worst - the fifth best player in the entire NHL. They are reviled only by Pittsburgh for deepest group of forwards. Oh, and if they weren't 1-8 in the shootout, and hadn't lost 15 games after regulation, they'd lead the Atlantic.

NHL Power Rankings: Here comes the Oilers Edition
That's right, we're actually talking about the Oilers in a positive way. Not negative, not mocking and not sarcastic. It's been far too long for those in Edmonton.
#5 Blues. Left for dead and not really given a chance anymore the Blues are 7-1-2 with a big win over reeling Nashville.
#4 Leafs. There I did it. I gave them credit now they can burn out quick in first round but they are 7-2-1 in last 10 could hit 100 points. Could
#3 Ducks. Don't look now but the Ducks are starting to find some form. Even with some OT losses lately they are 7-0-3 and sliding nicely into playoff form
#2 Oilers. 9-1-0 in last 10 with wins over Anaheim and San Jose the Oilers then put the dagger through the Kings heart too. Oh what a time to be alive.
#1. Capitals. Remember when the Caps could not figure the game out for a bit. Losing and all that business? 2 wins over the Jackets, 2 wins over Wild and a win over Calgary help put you to 8-1-1 and tops in the league.
"Come at me bro" is what the Capitals are saying to the rest of the league now.

Game Day: Senators @ Flyers - Get back on track

Putting Saturday's debacle behind them will be the object of the day as the Senators continue their five day road trip with stop #2 in the City of Brotherly Love.
The Flyers are clinging to the faintest of playoff hopes, trailing Boston by six points with seven games remaining and four teams to pass. You would have to think that for them to have any chance, they cannot afford to drop another point in the standings. In my mind, once you have more points to make up than games remaining, you are essentially done because you then need so much help from others to make it in.
While the Flyers should be a desperate team, for the Senators it is all about the process rather than the result. The game against Montreal was not a good one, and win or lose they need to play their game and execute the game plan much better.
The biggest cause for concern seems to be the special teams play. The power play has dropped to 22nd in the league, and their penalty kill has tumbled to 17th, just barely over 80%. When you add power play and penalty kill percentages together, 100% would be average, and Ottawa is now 98.3%. The PK has been especially bad over the last 7 games, getting scored on almost one out of every 3 opponent chances (7 for 22). That simply cannot continue because until some players start scoring more consistently, the Senators can't outgun teams if they give away free goals on special teams.
The Senators need to score goals to win, something they haven't done with enough regularity of late (7 goals in last 11 games) and this game could provide an opportunity for a breakout game, as the Flyers have allowed the second most goals in the Eastern Conference.
The teams have split their pair of matchups so far this season, with both games ending up 3-2 and requiring extra time. Ottawa won in a shootout in Philadelphia mid-November, while the Flyers returned the favor in Ottawa with an OT win a couple of weeks later.
Kyle Turris has 3 points in the two games, while Mark Stone is the only other Senator with multiple points, while on the flipside it is Claude Giroux (2 goals) and Jakub Voracek (2 assists) that lead the way for the Flyers in the season series. Steve Mason played both games for the Flyers, while Craig Anderson got the win and Mike Condon took the OTL for the Senators.
Largest munitions depot in Ukraine up in flames, nearly 20,000 evacuated; an US, Russia effort to de - Thu 23 Mar 2017, 4:05 pm

Thousands of people are being evacuated from Balakleya in the Kharkov region of Ukraine, as a massive fire has broken out at a munitions depot, which is said to be the largest in the country. There are reports of explosions and shattered windows.
Chaotic scenes with hundreds of vehicles stuck in traffic jams were reported on social media after the Balakleya city administration ordered an emergency evacuation of most of the city.
Videos uploaded by local residents show a huge blaze with what appears to be a missile flying off in a random direction and falling to the ground, as detonations are heard in the background.
Most of the population of Balakleya have been evacuated, the civil defense department of the city's district administration told RIA Novosti.
"The first wave of the evacuation has come to an end, most of the population have been evacuated by buses. Now the buses are returning to evacuate the rest. Specialists are going from house to house checking who remains," the district administration said.
There have been no immediate reports of any civilian casualty.

More than 16,000 people have been evacuated from the city of Balakleya, home to 29,000 people, the Ukrainian Emergency Ministry reported. Over 3,500 people were also evacuated from nearby villages.
A seven-kilometer (4.3-mile) safety zone has been set up around the burning depot, RIA Novosti reports, citing a Ukrainian military prosecutor.
Anatoly Matios, the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, wrote on Facebook that according to preliminary data, the explosion and fire were caused by sabotage at 3am local time at several storage sites for rocket and artillery weapons (including 125mm and 152mm tank and artillery shells). Matios said the incident was the direct result of sabotage.
An investigation has been launched.
Nearly 140,000 tons of ammunition are stored at the depot in Balakleya, the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine said on Thursday.
"The total area of the arsenal is 368 hectares, with 138,000 tons of ammunition... An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is getting ready for takeoff to establish the actual extent of the arsenal affected by the explosions," Matios wrote on Facebook.
Ukraine's border service has stepped up control measures in the country's southeast due to the incident.
"The state border service has tightened the border control regime in the east-south direction," Matios wrote on Facebook.
As residents hastily flee the area, RIA Novosti Ukraine reports that mobile networks in the city are overloaded or offline.

Hahn in the footsteps of Mogherini, visit to Macedonia an epic debacle
Wednesday, 22 March 2017
We understand that the EU is falling apart, we haven't seen Juncker sober since 2010, but what we witnessed with Mogherini and now Hahn can only be described as pure amateurism, childish behavior unlike we have ever seen.
First it was Mogherini who came with an agenda to force a country to do something, even though 85% of the country is telling her that her opinion and that of her bosses does not matter outside their office, certainly not in Macedonia. After receiving a cold shower in Macedonia, Mogherini was shut down, literally, in Serbia, where they didn't even let her speak. In Montenegro she spoke to empty chairs, while in Bosnia, she wasn't even allowed to visit! Epic debacle that would embarrass anyone that identifies themselves as human, except for Soros bot Federica Mogherini.
Next is Soros bot #2, Johannes Hahn, a controversial and corrupt EU official. The EU Commissioner invited himself to Macedonia, with no official protocol or agenda for the visit. Hahn believed a Government must be formed even though three 'minor' things are in the way: the winning party disagrees, the president will not issue a mandate and there are 200,000 people protesting every day against a foreign platform.
To make matters much worse for Hahn, president Ivanov served a humility notice and told the EU bureaucrat he will not meet him, no need for a meeting, his cabinet said.

Great Perry's Ghost! + Game Night

Reports of His Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated
More instances of Corey Perry's existance have been popping up lately. As many Ducks fans know, he was reported missing earlier this season. A Ducks player, wearing #10 scored a pair of goals Sunday night. This player looked remarkably like Perry. He was strong, aggressive and tough to defend. If it was indeed the real Corey Perry, his presence is greatly needed for the Ducks to succeed.
Seriously, the Ducks are a completely different team with a productive Perry. He doesn't need to be “The Messiah”, or even Anaheim's primary offensive weapon. What is needed from him is to be the 30ish per season goal scorer he has shown to be throughout his career. Perry would once again be the type of player opossing teams need to plan for. Additionally, the Ducks would have three effective lines who could win games for them.
The Backstop's Backstop
Another Jeckyl and Hyde player coming through for the Ducks of late is backup goalie Jonathan Bernier. He isn't the guy that looked like a ptential all-star when he served as Johnathan Quick's backup in Los Angeles a few seasons ago. Nor is he the guy that got lit up in Toronto last year. What he is for the Ducks is a goalie good enough to keep them in the game he is playing. In his last dozen games (not including a 5+ minute relief appearance in Buffalo), dating back to January 14, he is 7-4-1 with a 2.30 GAA and .925 save %. More importantly, he has allowed three or less goals in 11 of those 12 games. What more can be asked of a #2 goalie?
The Bosses Wife
A look at “Ek's PhD Wife's Final Projected Standings” place the Ducks second in the Pacific and fourth overall in the West with 104 points. I order to pull it off, they would need to take 20 points in their final 13 games. A doable feat, but it won't be easy considering 11 of those contests are against teams currently occupying a playoff position.
St. Louis @ Ducks
The Ducks look for a little payback against St. Louis tonight at the Honda Center. Five nights ago in St. Louis, the Blues were able to take at least a point away from Anaheim with last half-minute goal. Things have changed a bit since then. The Ducks forwards are at full strength and the defense will be on a high after holding down Washington in their previous game. Jonathan Bernier continues to defend the Ducks' net while John Gibson remains out of the lineup. Its hard to imagine a lineup change after putting up five goals.

Sleepwalking Towards Armageddon: The Nightmare Continues Six Years Later While The Mainstream Media Remains Silent
- And Is A Massive 'Radioactive Snowstorm' About To Strike 50 Million Americans?
By Stefan Stanford - All News Pipeline - Live Free Or Die'Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.' Hosea 4:3
Back on March 11th of 2011, our world changed forever for those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere though most still do not know it. Whether via an 'act of nature' or an 'act of HAARP', the earthquake and resultant tidal wave that struck Fukushima, Japan on that day left a path of death and destruction that has stretched far beyond that island nation.
As nuclear expert Dr. Helen Caldicott recently stated of Fukushima, "highly radioactive water is still pouring into the ocean every day and will likely continue doing so until the end of time". Calling the hopes of cleaning up the mess that's been made 'a fantasy', the stories and videos we examine in this ANP story prove to us we're sleepwalking towards extinction. The 'mass animal deaths' painstakingly kept track of by End Times Prophecy continue with at least '117 known mass death events' in 43 countries in 2017 alone.
According to End Times Prophecy, the year 2016 brought 556 KNOWN 'mass death events' spread over 81 countries. In 2015 there were 828 known 'mass death events' spread over 96 countries. In 2014 there were 651 known 'mass death events' spread over 76 countries. In 2013 there were 798 known mass death events in 93 countries. In 2012 there were 465 'mass death events' documented across 67 countries while in 2011, the year of the disaster, hundreds of mass death events also happened across the planet.
Dr. Caldicott, author of the book "Sleepwalking To Armageddon", also warns us that if another massive earthquake over 7.0 magnitude strikes Fukushima, we could witness not only the 'end of Japan' but the need for parts of the Northern hemisphere to be evacuated after recent photos of Fukushima #2 showed structural damage and a massive hole. In the final video below, Pastor Paul Begley tells us all about that latest story.
As Dane Wigington over at his Geoengineering Watch Blog recently reported,"the triple meltdown nuclear volcanoes at Fukushima continue to dump unimaginable amounts of radiation into the atmosphere and oceans". If the mainstream media doesn't report upon the mass deaths due to Fukushima and this still unfolding tragedy, does that mean it never happened?
As we learn in this brand new story from ENENews, every day since the tragedy now over 6 years ago, the Pacific Ocean has been completely pummeled while the mainstream media has nearly completely ignored the death and destruction that radiation from Fukushima has brought to the Pacific Ocean and the West coast of America.
As we hear in the 1st video below featuring nuclear activist Kevin Kamps, the government of Japan is now forcing some residents of Fukushima to move back into their homes or they'll lose their compensation for suffering through the disaster. Mothers who are concerned about the health of their children are being accused by the Japanese government of suffering from 'radiophobia' - the government of Japan is telling them that "it's all in their heads".
According to a new study reported in Science Mag, it's now safe for Fukushima residents to return to their radioactively contaminated homes. Later in March, 6 years after the catastrophe, nearly 52,000 evacuees from Fukushima will be invited to go back to the Fukushima prefecture. In the 2nd video below, we hear directly from one 'refugee' from Fukushima who tells us that she'll never be going back as her home was completely contaminated. Japanese activist Setsuko Kida, who lost everything but her life to radioactive poisons from the Fukushima meltdown, shares with us how she overcame that very real tragedy and became an advocate for radiation refugee rights.
So, why is the Japanese government so eager to get residents of Fukushima to move back into their radioactively poisoned homes? Might the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan have anything to do with that ludicrous decision? Please keep in mind that more than 30 years after Chernobyl, it remains a ghost town.
As the previously cited recent story from ENENews that Steve Quayle linked to on March 10th reports, according to Dr. Caldicott after a recent conversation with nuclear engineer Arnie Gunderson:
The robot did pick up structural damage to the building of Unit 2, which means it makes it unstable should there be another earthquake greater than 7 on the Richter scale — which then means the building could collapse, which then means that would collapse onto the molten core, and also with the spent fuel rods which are incredibly radioactive in the spent fuel pool, they would go down as well.
A huge amount of radiation would be released, such that it would be the end of Japan and certainly, very much radioactive fallout in the Northern Hemisphere such that I would probably get my family from Boston to come straight away to Australia.”
In fact, the Japanese government has increased allowable radiation exposure more than 20X since the meltdown. Hence, Kamps warns us in the 1st video below, radioactive food from Japan is certainly being sold not only in Japan but America and elsewhere across the world as well. Why would government's raise the safety level of radiation in foods unless they KNEW that radiation was in our foods?
As Mike Adams over at Natural News reported back in February, the mainstream media blackout over “unimaginable” radiation levels detected at Fukushima is akin to a suicide death wish.
We are all trapped in a planet-wide SUICIDE CULT run by incompetent morons.
It is at moments like this that I seriously feel like humanity has become a planet-wide suicide cult run by incompetent morons. If they all want to drink the Kool-Aid, that’s their choice, but I would prefer they don’t take me with them. For my part, I would actually like to live on a planet that isn’t contaminated and condemned by plutonium-239, cesium-137 and strontium-90.
According to the insanely stupid mainstream media, that somehow makes me crazy. But you and I both know that conforming to the stupidity of the delusional masses has never been a measure of sanity.
Back on February 26th we reported on ANP about a mysterious phenomenon scientists were calling 'radiation clouds' that may pose health risks to airline passengers and cause pilots to detect and avoid them in the future. As we reported then, Steve Quayle had himself recently flown through such a cloud as he documented in this video. We also reported then there was evidence that radioactive rain from Fukushima was falling on America. If that warning is true, are the large population hubs along the East coast of America and 50 million Americans about to be thrashed by a massive, 'radioactive snowstorm'?
On March 4th we reported we were watching a slow-motion disaster movie unfolding before our eyes with mass animal deaths continuing unabated while the mainstream media continued to remain silent. The silence from the MSM not only remains but has become deafening. With the Japanese government now forcing Fukushima residents to move back into a radioactive wasteland, we get more evidence we'll NEVER get truth from government.
And while a complete investigation of the radioactive fallout at Fukushima remains impossible due to one robot after another 'dying', we see in this brand new story from ENENews why we should all be concerned about Fukushima as fish leaking pus and covered in lesions have been found all up and down the US West Coast according to fishermen, deformed, starving and dying. But of course, if the msm doesn't report upon it, it's just 'fake news', right? Just ask the fish and sea life.

BREAKING: CDC confirms Natural News 100% CORRECT on report of African Green Monkey kidney cells used in vaccines

Vaccine ingredient DENIALISM, it seems, is alive and well across the fakestream media.
As Natural News correctly reported, one of the many animal-derived ingredients used in vaccines and openly admitted by the CDC is African Green Monkey kidney cells. Apparently, this realization was just too much for the scientifically illiterate media (and wholly dishonest vaccine pushers) who insisted it couldn’t possibly be true.
Now, CDC has confirmed the Natural News story to be 100% accurate and true through several documents posted on the CDC website which openly admit that African Green Monkey kidney cells are used in vaccines approved by the CDC for immunizations across America.
Here’s the irrefutable proof, which also demonstrates that the mainstream media is pushing fake news about vaccines while Natural News is one of the very few journalism organizations that dares to publish real news about vaccines.
CDC confirms Natural News is 100% correct AGAIN
First, a CDC document titled “Vaccine Excipient & Media Summary” lists all the vaccine excipient ingredients found in CDC-approved vaccines. The URL for this document is:
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/B/excipient-table-2.pdf
As you can see from the screen shots of the document, below, the list of excipient ingredients is “current as of January 6, 2017,” according to the CDC.
You’ll also see that this document includes a row for a Smallpox vaccine known as “Vaccinia – ACAM2000.” The list of excipients in this vaccine are:
African Green Monkey kidney (Vero) cells, HEPES, human serum albumin, sodium chloride, neomycin, polymyxin B, Glycerin, phenol
Note the inclusion of African Green Monkey kidney cells in the list. And note carefully that the entire mainstream media is calling Natural News a liar for accurately citing this CDC document.
In addition, this same document also includes an ingredients list for another vaccine called Adenovirus, which contains the following ingredients, one of which is derived from aborted human fetal cells:
human-diploid fibroblast cell cultures (strain WI-38), Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium, fetal bovine serum, sodium bicarbonate, monosodium glutamate, sucrose, D-mannose, D-fructose, dextrose, human serum albumin, potassium phosphate, plasdone C, anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, polacrilin potassium, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, cellulose acetate phthalate, alcohol, acetone, castor oil, FD&C Yellow #6 aluminum lake dye
As you can see form this list, these CDC-approved vaccines are deliberately formulated with all sorts of highly toxic and questionable ingredients, including acetone, a toxic solvent, aluminum, artificial coloring chemicals, human blood components, dextrose (probably from GMO corn), cow blood components and a whole lot more.
FDA confirms these vaccines are licensed and approved for use in the United States
Are these vaccines made with African Green Monkey kidney cells and aborted human fetal cells really used in the United States?YES.
This page from the FDA lists all the vaccines which are “licensed for use in the United States,” and it includes the vaccines containing African Green Monkey kidney cells and the WI-38 aborted human fetal cells.
LIVE Smallpox viruses grown in monkey kidneys, then harvested to be injected into YOU!
In addition to the CDC confirming Natural News is 100% correct through the documents listed above, the vaccine insert sheet itself also describes the use of African Green Monkey kidney cells. From the insert sheet for the ACAM2000 smallpox vaccine, approved by the FDA in 2007 and still on the approved list:
https://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBloodVaccines/Vaccines/ApprovedProducts/UCM142572.pdf
Click the following link for a backup copy on Natural News servers.
http://www.naturalnews.com/files/UCM142572.pdf
ACAM2000, Smallpox (Vaccinia) Vaccine, Live, is a live vaccinia virus derived from plaque purification cloning from Dryvax® (Wyeth Laboratories, Marietta, PA, calf lymph vaccine, New York City Board of Health Strain) and grown in African Green Monkey kidney (Vero) cells and tested to be free of adventitious agents. ACAM2000 is provided as a lyophilized preparation of purified live virus containing the following non-active excipients: 6-8 mM HEPES (pH 6.5-7.5), 2% human serum albumin USP, 0.5 – 0.7% sodium chloride USP, 5% mannitol USP, and trace amounts of neomycin and polymyxin B.
Vaccine WARNINGS related to the vaccine using African Green Monkey kidney cells
Not surprisingly, this vaccine is known to cause extremely serious and even deadly side effects at a shockingly high rate. Here’s the WARNING box from the vaccine insert sheet, linked above:WARNING:
See full prescribing information for complete boxed warning
Myocarditis and pericarditis (suspect cases observed at a rate of 5.7 per 1000 primary vaccinees (95% CI: 1.9-13.3)), encephalitis, encephalomyelitis, encephalopathy, progressive vaccinia, generalized vaccinia, severe vaccinial skin infections, erythema multiforme major (including STEVENS-JOHNSON SYNDROME), eczema vaccinatum resulting in permanent sequelae or death, ocular complications, blindness and fetal death, have occurred following either primary vaccination or revaccination with live vaccinia virus smallpox vaccines. These risks are increased in certain individuals and may result in severe disability, permanent neurological sequelae and/or death [see Warnings and Precautions (5)].
Here’s a screen shot of the warnings section of the vaccine insert:
Note the mention of “death” several times, and the shockingly high rate of serious adverse events at 5.7 per 1000 vaccinees. Notice also that this vaccine can cause permanent blindness, spontaneous abortions and severe neurological damage.
Note also that the entire vaccine pushing mainstream media will deny ever word of this even thought it’s printed right on the vaccine insert sheet. This shows you the extreme dishonesty and medical malpractice of all those who push vaccines while falsely claiming them to be “safe.”
CDC science paper from 2016 further confirms Natural News is 100% correct
For yet more irrefutable proof of the use of African Green Monkey kidney cells in CDC-approved vaccines, refer to this 2016 science paper published on the CDC.gov website entitled Use of Vaccinia Virus Smallpox Vaccine in Laboratory and Health Care Personnel at Risk for Occupational Exposure to Orthopoxviruses — Recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), 2015.As the CDC openly admits in this paper:
ACAM2000 is a vaccinia virus vaccine derived from a plaque-purified clone of the same New York City Board of Health strain that was used to manufacture Dryvax vaccine. ACAM2000 is grown in African green monkey kidney (Vero) cells and tested to be free of known adventitious agents (4). Safety data from ACAM2000 clinical trials indicate a similar safety profile to Dryvax, including a risk for serious adverse events (e.g., progressive vaccinia, postvaccinial encephalitis, and eczema vaccinatum) (5,6). Myopericarditis has also been associated with ACAM2000 and is estimated to occur at a rate of 5.7 per 1,000 primary vaccinees based on clinical trial data (6).
Who’s really lying? The vaccine pushers who refuse to tell the truth about vaccine ingredients
Reviewing the irrefutable proof from the CDC that confirms Natural News is 100% correct about the use of African Green Monkey kidney cells in vaccines, we have:#1) CDC excipients sheet from January 6, 2017, documenting the use of African Green Monkey kidney cells in vaccines.
#2) The Smallpox ACAM2000 vaccine insert sheet, also openly discussing how live viruses are grown in African Green Monkey kidneys, then harvested for use in vaccines.
#3) CDC.gov science paper that further confirms and discusses the use of African Green Monkey kidneys in vaccines.
Yet, astonishingly, there isn’t a single corporate-run media outlet in the world that will acknowledge this irrefutable fact. Instead, they attack it and label it “fake news” for the simple reason that they don’t want you to know what’s really in vaccines.
It’s clear at this point that the corporate-run media owes Natural News an apology… and they owe their audiences an explanation. More importantly, now that you know about this particular cover-up, you’re also probably smart enough to know that they’re lying to you about everything else related to vaccines, too.
Don’t believe a single thing the corporate-run media tells you about vaccines. They are knowingly lying all the time. Stay informed at Vaccines.news and Natural News.

Easy to Follow Food Storage List
When it comes to storing enough food to survive, unassisted and on your own for three six-months or a full year or even longer is the point where most new preppers get overwhelmed and some even give up altogether. And while I agree that storing and rotating such a large amount of food on a continuing basis can be a lot of work and takes dedication, it is by no means impossible, and if done right can even be enjoyable – just follow this food storage list. But where do you start? You should start with the basics first wheat (or other grains, for those who have trouble digesting gluten), rice, beans, oats, corn, salt, honey, cooking oil and powdered milk.
Wheat
This is the backbone of your survival diet. Wheat is nature’s longest storing seed, with an indefinite shelf life given proper storage conditions. The wheat (and other grains) can also be sprouted, adding fresh greens to the diet even in winter.Rice
Rice is my favorite storage foods and I actually prefer rice over wheat for storage, but that’s a personal decision, and well I like rice and rice dishes. White rice stores better and has a longer shelf-life than brown rice; however brown rice has more nutritional value. Despite the trade-off in storage duration, I still prefer brown rice for storage because of the added nutritional value.Beans
Beans, corn and rice combined make a complete food, providing just about everything you need to survive. Add some fresh green sprouts or garden produce and extra vitamin C just to be sure you’re getting enough to avoid scurvy, and you’ll be well fed and healthy.I like to store a combination of pinto beans, black beans, and mung beans. How much you store of each will depend on your personal preferences to taste.
Oats
Don’t go overboard when storing oats, about 20 pounds per adult per year is plenty. Oats have a storage life of approximately four to six years, depending on storage conditions and whether or not they have been opened after being packaged for long term storage.Corn
Corn equals cornmeal, cornbread, cornmeal mush, corn cakes, and a huge list of other foods that you can prepare using the seed. I store whole corn because it stores much better and with at least double the shelf-like of cracked corn.Salt
While not a food but a mineral, salt, is none the less essential to the diet and individual health. Salt is also used in the preservation of food and animal products. Salt, like wheat, has an indefinite shelf life. Store at least 10 pounds of iodized salt per person, per year. It’s also a good idea to stock up on salt blocks to attract game animals for future harvesting. You can find these in the sporting goods stores and other outlets that sell to hunters. You can also get these through your local farmers co-op, where they sell them for domestic livestock supplementation.
Honey or Sugar
As a sweetener honey makes an unequaled contribution to the diet. Honey, like wheat and salt, has an indefinite self-life. Store at least 10 pounds per person. If the honey hardens and crystallizes, heat it slowly in a double boiler to reconstitute.Cooking Oil
There is some controversy as to which is best for storage in the preppers pantry, vegetable oil or olive oil, while both will work fine and you should stock up on the one that you like best. I recommend putting away, 10 quarts, per person, per year.Powdered Milk
Most people turn their nose at the thought of powdered milk, preferring whole milk from the supermarket shelf. Granted it does have a slightly different taste, but it’s not unpleasant to drink, and after a week or two it seems to “grow” on you. Studies have shown that nonfat powdered milk, when packaged (nitrogen-packed) and stored properly has a storage life of 20 years or more.Stockpiling Hard To Store Foods
I prefer to buy those hard-to-store long-term items like powdered milk, dry margarine, butter powder, buttermilk powder, cheese powder, shortening, and powdered eggs prepackaged for long-term storage in #10 metal cans, from Augason Farms or other reputable survival food vendors.Supermarket Canned Foods
Canned foods from the supermarket have many advantages when it comes to food storage, they have a decent shelf-life on average of 2-5 years for most products, (note: shelf-life means that the foods retain 100% of their listed original nutritional value up until that point – store bought canned foods remain edible, far past the listed expiration dates in most cases). As long as the cans aren’t bulging, rusted through or punctured and the foods smell fresh, upon opening then I would not hesitate to eat canned goods that are far past their listed expiration date. But that is a personal choice and one you’ll have to make yourself when the decision is needed.
Store bought canned foods have several advantages over freeze-dried or dehydrated foods, including cost and calories contained per serving. Another advantage is that canned foods already have their own water supply for preparation, so there is no need to use any potable water from your storage.
Despite the advantages of canned foods over freeze-dried and dehydrated foods, canned goods do have some disadvantages in comparison, like, weight, space needed for storage, and shelf-life.
I like to include a combination of the basic foods like wheat, rice, and beans, store bought canned foods and certain “packaged for long-term storage” foods that are hard to store like powdered milk from one of the reputable survival food vendors…
All canned foods should be dated using a permanent marker and rotated on a FIFO (first-in-first-out) basis. I suggest that you build a rotating canned food shelf that will automatically rotate your canned foods when added and pulled from the shelf.
Always keep a notepad beside the shelf or in your kitchen, and write down every item that you take from the shelf and then take the note with you on your next trip to the supermarket, and then buy and restock the items that you’ve taken from the shelf, that way you always have a fully stocked shelf and a fresh supply.
Don’t Forget the Can Opener:
Sure you could use a knife, but a manual can opener is easier and safer – so whatever else you do, don’t forget the can opener. Buy several or the strongest made ones that you can find.
Other Foods
After you get the basic foods listed above in the needed proportions (see below), it is a simple matter to add other foods as you get the extra money.Canned meats: We all know that SPAM is the preppers go to for a cheap “meat” source that has a longer than average shelf-life, and fat content. Canned hams, tuna, salmon, chicken, and turkey are all welcome additions in my pantry shelf – stock-up on the meats that your family normally eat and date and rotate just as you would any other canned food.
White flour: White flour from the store has a much longer shelf-life than does whole wheat flour because it has been “processed” which removes the oily germ, but unfortunately this “processing also removes the nutrition.
Processed white flour has a shelf-life of over five years if kept dry and safe from pests (like the meal moth). Mill moths get into the flour, lay eggs and those eggs turn into flour weevils, which ruin the flour. Look for tiny dark specks in the flour, as this is the first sign that the flour has been infested.
If it clumps together because of settling, just break it apart and run it through a sifter before use.
Store flour for long-term storage in airtight containers, with oxygen absorbers, added – see details below. You can also freeze flour that has been put into five-gallon buckets. Freezing will also kill any meal moths that happen to have been trapped inside before they can do any damage to your flour.
Most of my “flour” is in the form of whole wheat berries, that I have to mill (grind) before use, but I do have some processed flour in my pantry, for lazy days when I don’t feel like grinding whole wheat into usable flour.
Peanut butter: Peanut butter is a good source of fat and calories and has a decent shelf-life. Peanut butter is also an energy food and one that I always take on hunting and camping trips. Unopened peanut butter will last for years.
Spices: Be sure to include a good selection on spices in your food storage. Spices can make even the most awkward foods palatable, and help to alleviate food boredom. Cinnamon, Turmeric, Paprika, Ginger, Oregano, and Garlic are my favorites and make up the bulk of the spices in my pantry.
Baking powder, baking soda, and yeast: Baking powder, baking soda, and yeast (keep yeast frozen to extend shelf-life) are also essential since you’re storing and baking using unprocessed grains.
Dried pasta: Dried pasta will keep indefinitely if kept dry in bug and rodent proof containers.
Comfort Foods:
Storing a sufficient amount of “comfort foods” is very important, to your psychological well-being as well as to alleviate “food-boredom” that is sure to set in after eating only storage foods for several months. Comfort foods are even more important if you have children or need to care for the elderly.
Consider comfort foods such as – Jell-O, instant pudding mix, cake mix, hard candies, chewing gum, Spaghettios, mac and cheese, brownie mix, canned spaghetti and meatballs, mashed potatoes, popcorn, cocoa, tea, coffee, powdered juice mixes, sunflower seeds etc. And remember to date and rotate on a FIFO basis.
We crave variety and having a supply of familiar comfort foods can go a long way toward retaining our sanity and self-worth during a long term disaster. You can only deny yourself for so long before desperation and depression start to set in. Life will be difficult enough – give yourself a treat. You deserve it.
It is a proven fact that if we are forced to eat foods we don’t want or the same foods for extended periods – just to stay alive – dissociation begins to set in. We begin to float away as an escape – we still eat to stay alive, but suffer a lack of focus and become disorientated in relation to our surroundings.
This is dangerous in a survival setting. Don’t think it can happen? Try eating nothing but beans and rice for three months and you’ll see what I mean. Having a supply of comfort foods can help by providing at least some form of normalcy to your life.
Older folks and children will have the hardest time adjusting to new or unfamiliar foods, with many refusing to eat altogether, especially if the food is unnecessarily bland or unappetizing. Comfort foods will help them cope.
Vitamins:
To ensure that you’re getting a sufficient amount of needed daily vitamins and minerals for optimum health, you need to stockpile a good multi-vitamin and mineral supplement. Also consider extra vitamin C and D. Vitamin D is of extra importance if you’re forced to stay inside (bugging in) for a longer than normal period of time and thus are unable to receive the needed vitamin D producing sunlight that is required for optimal health.
Don’t Forget about Your Pets:
Don’t forget to include a sufficient amount of food in your stockpile to feed your pets. A decent dog will increase your chances of survival because they can hunt and alert you to trespassers and other trouble. I prefer smaller dual-purpose breeds, with my choice for a working dog being the Jack Russell terrier.
A Sample Three Month Food Storage List for One Adult
- Wheat 75 Pounds
- Grains, rice, oats etc. 25 Pounds
- Canned meats 5 Pounds
- Canned margarine, powdered eggs etc. 2 Pounds
- Dried beans, peas, lentils, etc., 6 Pounds
- Dried fruit juice and concentrates 6 Pounds
- Dried fruits or canned 25 Pound (if dried, then equal to this fresh weight
- Comfort foods 3 Pounds
- Non-fat dried milk 25 pounds
- Peanut butter or substitute protein/fat source 3 pounds
- Dried potatoes 12 pounds (equal to this fresh weight)
- Salt 2 pounds
- Shortening oils 3 quarts
- Sugar or honey 12 pounds
- Canned or dried vegetables 9 pounds (if dried, then equal to this fresh weight)
Please bear in mind that the above list is only a sample to help you get started, the most useful food storage list is the one that you put together yourself. After all who knows better than you, what you and your family, likes to eat and in what amounts.
Where to Put All this Food?
After reading the above recommendations, you’re probably asking yourself where in the heck, you’re going to store all of this food. Well, that’s a good question and one that you alone can answer for your situation better than anyone else, but I’ll make a few suggestions that I hope will point you in the right direction.
The absolute best place in an underground bunker, root cellar or basement, unfortunately, most people don’t have any of those and have to make due with other less ideal storage options… Consider a spare bedroom, attached garage, detached storage building on your property, or as a last-resort a nearby storage unit rental.
If at all possible put in an underground storage area of some sort to keep you storage foods safe (and you) safe from weather extremes, as well as the main enemy of your food-storage shelf-life; heat. An excellent option, and inexpensive when compared to other suitable alternatives is the buried shipping container.
How to Store Dried Beans and Grains at Home for Long-Term Storage with Oxygen Absorbers & Mylar Bags
I store all my grains, beans and other dry foods (besides sugar, salt or sprouting seeds) inside food-grade five-gallon plastic buckets. There is some controversy over what is and isn’t food grade. Most buckets with #2 inside a small triangle on the bottom are food grade, but not all – the only way to be reasonably certain is to contact the manufacturer and ask.I buy mine from the local hardware store in the paint department. They also have them at my Wal-Mart, but, I prefer to buy from local business owners if possible. Sometimes they can even be gotten free from bakeries and restaurants, just be sure they only held food products – not paint, chemicals or other things that can make you sick or dead.
Foods packed in oxygen don’t store as well as those in an oxygen free atmosphere. Oxygen absorbers work by removing the air from the enclosed container, leaving an atmosphere of 99% pure nitrogen in a partial vacuum inside the buckets.
Don’t open the bag of oxygen absorbers until ready to use because they will absorb oxygen from the surrounding air and become useless. Have everything ready to go before you open the package. Any unused oxygen absorbers can be stored inside a small canning jar until needed.
Be sure to have everything ready to go before you start. Line the inside of the bucket with an appropriately sized Mylar bag these will help to keep light and moisture out extending the storage life of the foods inside.
The Mylar bag also offers a layer of protection between the food and the plastic bucket, if for some reason the bucket that you’re using isn’t considered food-grade.
Pour the food into the buckets a little at a time, shaking each bucket as it is being filled to settle and distribute the contents. Fill each bucket to about ½ inch from the top and throw in one 2000 cc oxygen absorber in each five-gallon bucket of food.
Now to seal the Mylar bag – first roll the top of the bag closed on one end leaving an opening at the other and press out any air that has been trapped inside, next place a 2×4 across the top of the bucket and pull the Mylar bag over the 2×4 and seal with a clothing iron set at the highest setting in a typical ironing fashion across the board.
Quickly put the lids on each bucket and pound shut by laying the board across the top and striking with a hammer or rubber mallet. After a few hours, the absorbers will create a vacuum that will cause the lids on the buckets to “pop down” indicating a good seal and a proper atmosphere for long term storage. Be sure to label each with date, content, and weight, written on the front with a permanent marker.

Arizona Coyotes - Wed 25 Jan 2017, 6:07 pm
|
The Coyotes are riding high on a two-game winning streak (season high) that has seen prized rookie Christian Fischer score in each of his first two NHL games.
While it's not much, the Coyotes, the (by the standings) second-worst team in the NHL will take what they can get.
In the vein of finding positives wherever you can, the Coyotes and media are very excited about Alex Burmistrov's five points in his first five games as a Coyote.
I don't want to get anyone upset, but there is nothing to be excited about. Burmistrov was a total bust in Winnipeg and while 5/5 is nice, there are a couple of red flags.
Red Flag #1: Burnistrov has no goals, only assists. One of which is on the PP and two of which are second assists. So really, he has an OK two assists in five games.
Red Flag #2: His Corsi-For Rating ifor every player he's been on the ice with in a Coyotes uniform is 46% or less, and it always gets better for the other player when they get away from Burmistrov.
Yes, it's only been five games, but it follows the exact pattern of his time in Winnipeg where most players saw their possession numbers skyrocket when they were not on the ice with Burmistrov.
This isn't bad and it's not meant to detract from decent production. It's just meant to point out that the Coyotes didn't score a big steal on the waiver wire. If anything, playing Burmistrov will help them get a better shot at the first-overall pick they desire.
In other news, I am still mad at Bruce Willis.
Also, Shane Doan and Mike Smith are nursing day-to-day injuries and may miss tomorrow's game, which is against the Canucks tomorrow at home.
Reader Comments & Observations-#3 RE CANADA - Sat 14 Jan 2017, 9:10 am
COMMENT #1: Regarding your post Currency vs Language, I wanted to add that in NY I have an abundance of IT co-workers that are H1-B visas holders working as consultants from India. They are extremely nice and I’ve enjoyed learning about their culture. As I’ve stated before, these consults overwhelmingly supported Hillary Clinton. Some of the consultants were naturalized and voted for Hillary. People from India are social and they often gather and speak among themselves; therefore, as more before naturalized and vote, you can expect more Democrat voters. With regard to language, they’ve confirmed to me that they speak their India state language at home, not English. You are correct, even in NY, “If that subculture then becomes the majority, the culture of the state will change and therein lies the seed …”
COMMENT #2: The Xi Jinping article about the coming new world order, in it you provide a good explanation of why we think linearly and they think cyclically. My explanation lies along the lines of religious background. Even if/when people leave the confines of religion, the subconscious thought remains. I believe that we think linearly because our religion teaches us that things begin and end. They think cyclically because their religion teaches them that things begin and end and then begin again and end again.
COMMENT #3: Hi Martin, I appreciate the work you do and making your blog available for free. I thought you might like to know that Canada is also moving toward a cashless society. Yesterday I went into Scotia Bank and tried to buy foreign currency. I offered them cash and they refused it. They told me that the money had to be paid by cash transfer. Because I didn’t have an account with them I could not buy the foreign currency. The Canadian banking system is primitive compared to New Zealand and Australian banks where I have also lived. Another bank would not allow me transfer money online from my own bank to a relative’s bank account at their bank. I would have to personally go into their bank and only they could request the money for me, and of course, charge me $30!
