OPEC: Arab oil represents 55% of global reserves

{International: Euphrates News} Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) {} (OAPEC), said on Sunday, said that the proven oil reserves in the Arab countries was estimated at the beginning of this year by about 710 billion barrels.
He said oil expert in the Department of Technical Affairs of "OAPEC" Turkish Ahamh, that these Arab reserves represent 55.6% of global reserves.
He added that the gas reserves in the Arab countries, are estimated at 54 trillion cubic meters, make up 27.7% of proven gas reserves in the world.
