UNESCO: Jerusalem will not be under Israeli sovereignty

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) voted in favor of a decision to exclude Israel from the occupied city of Jerusalem. According to Palestinian media, the organization voted 22 to 10 in favor of the decision to designate Jerusalem as an occupied city. The draft resolution affirms that "Israel" occupies Jerusalem and has no right in the Old City. It also includes the recognition that the graves in the city of Hebron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem are Islamic tombs.
