    With the participation of a group of politicians and economists, the work of the Forum "Petersburg International Economic" will begin on Thursday, where participants will discuss the problems of the global economy and the growth of the Russian economy after the recession.
    Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with India's Prime Minister Narendra Mudi at the three-day forum, where the 18th Russian-Indian summit will be held.
    The Forum is being held this year under the theme "Looking for a new balance in the global economy". The Forum is a unique international event in the world of economics. Participants discuss key economic issues facing Russia and the world as a whole.
    On the sidelines of the forum, Russia is expected to conclude a series of agreements and memorandums of cooperation, including 10 agreements worth 1.7 billion dollars to be signed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund, in addition to the Moscow and Riyadh declarations of new agreements for cooperation and joint action in various fields.
    The economic forum has been held in Russia since 1997, and since 2006 the forum has been attended by President Putin on an annual basis. The Economic Forum is called the Russian Davos Forum, thanks to its size and level of participants.
    The Economic Forum includes 108 events in various fields, including the plenary session, the dialogue sessions, as well as the effectiveness of the Roundtable and TV debates.
