Plans to increase export capacity of Khor al-Amaya Port

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi oil ministry disclosed plans to increase the export capacity of Khor al-Amaya port , south of Iraq, to more than one million b/d during the coming few years.
The current level of exports for this port reached to 250.000 b/d, but expected to increase it , after completion of the storage systems and tanks, to reach 600.000 b/d.
Iraq exports most of its oil production through this and Basra ports, in addition to floating piers prepared for exports purposes.
