Russian army reveals "the goal of the Americans in Syria"[/size]

The Russian defense ministry said on Thursday that the ultimate goal of the United States in Syria is not to fight an oppressive organization but to seize economic assets.
The Russian response comes after an attack by the US-led international coalition against pro-Syrian fighters in oil-rich eastern Syria, where conflict there is likely to escalate.
The Syrian Democratic Forces, an alliance of Kurdish and Arab factions, control large swathes of the east of the country, after an attack on a militant organization.
The Syrian Interfax news agency quoted the Defense Ministry as saying that Syrian fighters targeted by the coalition had not coordinated their survey activities in advance with Moscow.
The coalition said earlier Thursday that it and its local partners in Syria targeted pro-Syrian forces with air strikes and artillery shelling last night to counter an "unjustified" attack near the Euphrates River.
