    The Security and Defense Committee on Monday confirmed the right of Iraq to import Russian weapons and not to interfere with the American side, pointing out that the United States plans to weaken the ability of the Iraqi defenses and use the airspace as a conduit for their aircraft.
    "Iraq has the right to import Russian arms without any restriction or rejection by the American side," said Iskander Tutt, a member of the committee.
    "Russian weapons are much better for the Iraqi army than the Americans," he said. "Russian weapons are cheaper, more efficient and more powerful than American weapons."
    "The United States refuses to have Iraq's anti-Russian weapons, especially the Russian air defense system, in order to use the airspace of Iraq as a conduit for its aircraft without any deterrent," he said. Ending / 25 n
