[ltr]Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will host a regional summit in Tokyo on Wednesday, with the participation of the Chinese premier and South Korean president to discuss North Korea's nuclear weapons program.[/ltr]
[ltr]Japan's Kyodo news agency quoted unnamed Japanese government officials as saying that in addition to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, the issue of a tripartite free trade agreement is likely to be on the agenda of the three leaders' meeting.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Tokyo meeting comes about two weeks after the two Koreas talks between South Korean President Mon Jie and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and ahead of the first summit between the United States and North Korea between President Trump and leader Kim, which is expected to be held later this month or in Next June.[/ltr]
