UN: No evidence of Iran's breach of arms embargo on Yemen

) - UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich said on Friday that the United Nations had no clear evidence of Iran'sviolation of the arms embargo on Yemen . Reuters
reported that Guterich had prepared a report in which he confirmed that the examination of the parts of the missiles that the Houthis had launched in Yemen had fired at targets in Saudi Arabia since July 2017, indicating a similarity between its basic elements and its Iranian counterparts. Some parts of the Houthis were Iranian-made.
However, the report said that the United Nations was unable to determine whether the parts or missiles or the technology needed to manufacture them were received by the Huthis from Iran after the UN Security Councilimposed an arms embargo on the Houthis (April 2015).
