Informed sources said that the political blocs agreed that Adel Abdul Mahdi will be prime minister and that the current Prime Minister Haider Abadi will serve as Vice President of the Republic.
The sources pointed out that the choice of Abdul-Mahdi for the post of prime minister came to resolve the dispute between the coalition of construction, which includes
Nuri al-Maliki and Hadi al-Amiri and the alliance of reform and reconstruction, which includes victory and rest, wisdom and patriotism on the proposed character to fill the post of prime minister.
