Dhi Qar Council: the budget of the province is disabled since 2013

Baghdad / ... The Chairman of the Technical Committee in the Council of Dhi Qar, Engineer Hassan al-Asadi, on Saturday, not to amend the investment law and disrupt the budget of the province since 2013.
"The reality of the province of Dhi Qar is deteriorating in all aspects of service and infrastructure, economic and investment, stressing the lack of intention of the central government to develop and amend the investment law as the budget of the province of Dhi Qar has been disabled since 2013."
He pointed out that "the projects of the health, education, water and sewage sectors are still blocked and what has been accomplished does not meet the needs of the province of Dhi Qar."
Al-Asadi pointed to "addressing the prime minister for the purpose of amending the investment law, where reliance on regional and other development projects does not provide anything in light of the weakness of the budget and the decline in oil prices."
He added that "the budget of 2019 petrodollar money does not add anything new to the province of projects that have not been ratified by the Iraqi Council of Representatives."
